Don't you just adore these fabulous stsamps from Funky Kits?  I have fallen in love with them all!  Oooops my purse will be empty very soon again!!

This card is for the following challenges ~

I paper-pieced her fabulous t-shirt onto cream pearlised paper and am very pleased at how it came out - I know its not that obvious from the pics but I promise it is pp'd! I made my flower using brown and cream pearlised paper put thru my Bigshot with a scalloped circles Nestie, then scrunched them all up, unfolded them and added a small cream button at the centre.  The sentiment is from Rainbow Earth and I just love it as it is so true!  I also distressed the edges of the papers - one of my fav looks at the mo!

Cool Grey 1, 2 & 3; Ivory, Satin, Blush, Pastel Pink, Sandstone, Caramel, Cinnamon, Henna, Duck Egg Blue and China Blue;

Ella with Flowers

I am getting really upset because I am not able to craft as much as I want to with my bad neck - and yes I am STILL waiting to hear when my op will be despite chasing them up twice already!! (can you guess I am not good at waiting for things to happen?) - but I have come up with htis card for several challenges ~

Using the ever so cute Ella with Flowers from Digistamp Boutique I coloured her with my Promarkers and cut out the shape using a Nellie Snellen die inking the edges with a PM.  Following Sketch Saturday's sketch, the DPs are from Funky Hand's Very Funky Blue for Boys range and darak brown pearlised paper from my stash.  The flowers I made using a Marianne Die Cut with the same papers and added a pearl gem to the centres.  The sentiment is computer generated - easy to do when you have access to a printer etc.

I am entering this into the following challenges ~

First Grandchild

My son is about to become an uncle for the first time and I have made this card for his inlaws, Barry and Marion, who are about to become grandparents for the first time too!  Their son's wife is due on 21st so they are all waiting in anticipation of the big event!

Using the ever so cute Pringle from Home Grown range st Sugar Nellie,  I left him quite plain stamped onto cream card as we don't know what sex baby is yet but I lightly coloured him with PMs.  Behind him I put a gorgeous doily I got from my friend Mandy, inked the edges of cream card and mounted this all onto a paper from My Craft Studio.

I am entering this into the following challenges:~
The Sugar Bowl;
Sarah Hurley New Beginnings and
Passion for Promarkers Baby Cards.

 The sentiment is CG in Jenkins font.
Ingredients:~
Pringle image from Sugar Nellie coloured with Promarkers in Cool Grey 1, 2 ,3 & 4 and outlined in Ivory.  I left the ribbon plain as I want to colour it in either blue or pink once he/she pops into the world;
Ribbon from my stash;
Paper from My Craft Studio Professional.

Purple Christmas

Over at Passion for Promarkers and also at Sarah Hurley, they are looking for Christmas cards this week - the former purple/pink and the latter no red/green.  Easy for me as I do love Christmas cards that are modern yet still traditional therefore this is what I have made this year for my daughter's general Christmas cards.

Using the fabulous freebie stamp from Craft Stamper magazine I stamped onto Rymans smooth card then coloured with Promarkers. I then added mirri board and no sentiment as there is an insert and she wanted them very simple.  Think I have achieved this here.  I also made some in pink and also blue so she has an assortment to choose from.
The close up below shows how I shaded the image with 3 different colours of PMs ~ Maroon, Lilac & Lavender, and the texture on the backing paper which is from The Papermill Shop.

I hope you all have a fab weekend whatever you are doing ~ Graham is treating me to a day in London tomorrow and then we are going to the theatre in the evening - dunno what to see as it is a birthday surprise for me!! Will let you know on Sun/Mon. X

Crafty Cardmakers DT card

Over at Crafty Cardmakers our challenge this week is 'Use a Freebie' - something that you got in a magazine or in a download for example. Be sure to tell us where your freebie came from.  The winner for this challenge will receive 2 background paper books by Crafty Individuals which are background papers 1 & 2 with 2 being Christmas.

My freebie is the fabulous 'Penelope's Party Wagon' that came as a free download from the very talented Mo Manning some time ago. I do love her images but am not on Facebook so very often miss her lovely freebies now. I coloured her with my good old Promarkers, matted and layered her onto card and mounted her onto this lovely shaped sidestepper - do visit my DT buddy Vix if you would like to know where it comes from. I added a frill along the bottom using tissue paper that came in the box with new trainers - never throw anything away me!! Well you never know when you may be able to use it!! This side view shows the mechanics of the card - I do love the shape and the size of this and it is very simple to make.

I am entering this also into the following challenges:~

Charisma Cardz More Than One Fold and
Sarah Hurley's Colouring In Challenge.

Autumnal Earth Fairy

This little beauty is Earth Fairy freebie from Pollycraft and she is really versatile. I have previously used her coloured blue and now she has her autumnal colours on. Following Sketch Saturday No 124, I coloured her with Promarkers, inked the edge with Distress Ink and layered her onto pearlised brown, copper and autumnal coloured paper from MCS. The sentiment is computer generated and the flowers I made using a combination of all three papers punched and stuck together in three layers. I am rather pleased with the result considering I am not feeling 100% today - I had a painkilling injection for my neck at The Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead yesterday and I have now lost my voice (much to my family's delight!!) and am exhausted as I didn't get much sleep last night. I am hoping to upload a very personal project I have been working on tomorrow so please come back to see if I have managed to.
This is going into the following challenges:~
