Madeline Bakes A Cake for Fairymoon Crafts

This is my third post for today so please trawl down to see the others.

We are experiencing a family crisis at the moment so I will aplogise in advance if I don't do any commenting this week or don't make any more cards.  Its nothing too serious but very stressful for us all.

My DT card for the Fairymoon Challenge No 34 is made following this fabulous sketch so I hope you will join in the fun!  Do come and play along........also go visit the other fairies to see what they have done with the fab sketch - their links are on the right under Fairymoon Crafts.  They are a very talented bunch of girls!

Using the gorgeous Madeline Bakes a Cake from Mamidoodles, I coloured her with Promarkers and layered her onto pink backing paper.  The pink spotty paper was then layered onto the same pink paper and finally matted onto green paper with swirls from My Minds Eye.  I dry embossed hearts and scallops onto the spotty paper for some dimension and then added a sentiment.  The icing on her cake and in the bowl has bright pink glitter but it is hard to see in the pic.

I am entering this into the following challenges:~

Summertime is here to stay!

You can also see I used vellum for her veil and added some glitter glue to it .

Bella Bling!

Well I am back after a few days of doing NO cards at all. I have been feeling a bit 'off' - just unsure what was wrong with me.

I made this card using the fab image I won from the fab Monika some months ago - I think its a Stamping Bella - pls correct me if I am wrong. BLING BLING and MORE BLING! That's what Charisma Cardz 24 are asking for so using Moving Along With The Times fab sketch I popped up with this result. I made the gift tag to match to fall into the right place for The Creative Cottage Challenge and used cool grey tones for Craftilicious Challenge No 2.

Ingredients:~
Black glitter card from stash;
Image was a prize from Monika coloured with PMs:~
Cool Grey 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5;
Text paper from stash - think its Pink Petticoat;
Blingy stones fab find in The Works;
Charm handbag also from The Works;
Sentiment made on PC.

My Friday Card

Well the weekend is nearly with us again! This card is for entry to 3 different challenges. I love the image from Cardmadfairy - All Dressed Up. She is just so confident.

As some of you know Lyne has tested positive for Glandular Fever so has been signed off work again and been sent for more blood test as her Liver Function one came back raised - no idea what that means but am not worried as apart from her severe fatigue she is well in herself.

Challenges are :~

I love Promarkers No 18 - following their sketch;
The Creative Cottage 'Pink' theme;
and finally Charisma Cardz 'Spots and Stripes'.

Ingredients:~
Papers from My Craft Studio and stash;
Image from Cardmadfairy coloured with PMs~
Shale,Caramel & Cinnamon for hair;
Blossom & Dusky Rose for dress and;
Blush, Dusky Pink & Satin for skin areas and whole image edged with Cool Grey 1.
Ribbons from stash.

First card from MCS Pro

Well I treated myself to My Craft Studio Pro the other day and finally had a play with it today - its not something I will use too much as I do like to craft properly. But there are some fab images, papers, toppers etc on it so I will be using them.

I matted and layered this nice one and added a ribbon and 2 lollipop flowers with brads.

I am entering it into The Creative Cottage Blooming Charming Challenge No 12. Unfortunately I do not have any charms to add so I hope they will take that into consideration (after all I am unable to work at the mo therefore have to rely on Graham giving me crafting money from time to time - too often he will say!!)).

BDay for my handsome son!

This card is for Neil who will be 27 on 10th July - Gawd I feel old!!

Using Freebie papers from Polka Doodles, I created 'road like' background for the icartoon images from the Net which I partly coloured in with Promarkers.

I added bicycle tyres to match CPS Card Sketch No 167. Sentiment maded on PC and layered on holographic mirriboard.

I know this card will bring a giggle to Neil and his new wife's face as his cycling is a HUGE part of their relationship!

I am also entering it into The Creative Cottage 'One for the Boys' Challenge No 11.

Pretty fed up today with the pain in my neck - really getting me down just now but whey hey it could be a lot worse eh?
