Autumnal Earth Fairy

This little beauty is Earth Fairy freebie from Pollycraft and she is really versatile. I have previously used her coloured blue and now she has her autumnal colours on. Following Sketch Saturday No 124, I coloured her with Promarkers, inked the edge with Distress Ink and layered her onto pearlised brown, copper and autumnal coloured paper from MCS. The sentiment is computer generated and the flowers I made using a combination of all three papers punched and stuck together in three layers. I am rather pleased with the result considering I am not feeling 100% today - I had a painkilling injection for my neck at The Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead yesterday and I have now lost my voice (much to my family's delight!!) and am exhausted as I didn't get much sleep last night. I am hoping to upload a very personal project I have been working on tomorrow so please come back to see if I have managed to.

Manga Kids

This is one of the stamps I bought from Funky Kits on our summer visit to NE Scotland - I think they are so cute don't you?

I coloured my image with PMs; used by Nellie Snellen Oval Die to cut frame on pearlised dark brown paper; matted and layered My Minds Eye papers; applied ribbon with white stitching and sewed on 4 buttons; used my Marianne's Dies to cut brown leaves to tie in with 'Harvest' and 'Leaves' then tied the same ribbon around them to look like sheaves.

I am very pleased with the overall look of this card so it will be flying its way to my dear old Mam later in the week - she looks forward to getting her cards in the post and has a massive collection which she uses as and when required as I don't actually write on them but stick a note or letter inside so she CAN use them again. Talk about recycling - or are we both mean Scots! ~He He!

I would like you so see this gorgeous wee boys of mine - Sooty & Sweep who have taken to sleeping on our bed in the afternoons. Aren't they just heavenly? But really they are wee monsters. When I go to bed while Graham locks up Sweep comes up with me and hides under the pillows til Graham comes to find him. So now Sooty has started soming up too and he hides under the duvet at my feet! The funny thing is when we got them we both said they were not to get onto the beds!! I can see that rule flew out the window then. I am tempted to let then stay with me all night when Graham is away with work but I am not sure that is a good idea - it would be SO obvious to Graham when he came back wouldn't it? Still on the subject of the kittens - we tend to call Sweep (the tabby) Squeek as he cannot yet meiow and may never we have been told. He simply squeeks instead and it is SO funny. Onto this card now - it is for 4 challenges - the most I have managed to tie together in one card.

New stamp

This easel card is my first for nearly 3 weeks......not too happy with the outcome but way hay.... Using The Sugar Bowl sketch, I am entering into 4 challenges ~ The Sugar Bowl; Charisma Cardz; Get Funky and Crafty Cardmakers.

This adorable wee bear can be found on My Craft Studio Pro - I think she is so cuddly but the look on her face shows either fear or shock! Maybe she has just been dumped on the ground and is looking for a new home....... This one is for 2 challenges ~

New Baby card

A work mate of Lynne's has gone on maternity leave and is due any day now so, in prep, I made this card - have also done a boy's one too but will post that next as this one is for some challenges. Using a stunning image I got from a friend and coloured it with PMs, layered onto card from Papermill Shop and added ribbon and button.

Bella Bling!

Well I am back after a few days of doing NO cards at all. I have been feeling a bit 'off' - just unsure what was wrong with me.

I made this card using the fab image I won from the fab Monika some months ago - I think its a Stamping Bella - pls correct me if I am wrong. BLING BLING and MORE BLING! That's what Charisma Cardz 24 are asking for so using Moving Along With The Times fab sketch I popped up with this result. I made the gift tag to match to fall into the right place for The Creative Cottage Challenge and used cool grey tones for Craftilicious Challenge No 2.

A New Home

My 'New' card for this fab new challenge ~ Craftilicious ~ is using Pollycraft's New Home image coloured with PMs. I matted and layered onto black and lilac glitter card, then added papers from Pink Petticoat.
