Cardmadfairy's Digi Days Spots and Stripes

How fast is this year passing - we are  now nearing the end of October - yikes!

Another new challenge from Jenni at Cardmadfairy's Digi Days and this time we are looking for Spots and Stripes ~ we are sponsored this time by the fabulous Whimsy Stamps ~

For this challenge I stayed away from the fabulous Christmas images and used one of Jenni's 'older' digis - the gorgeous Inspire available here.

First of all a sneak peak at the image itself - I coloured the background with Flexmarkers and then added red for the gorgeous poppies......

.....the sentiment I found in a book I bought of quotes etc......

and then the finished card.  I finally managed to buy locally some scalloped edged cards - I keep saying I live in the world's 'best' city yet cannot find a decent proper craft shop !!

I am going to enter this into the following challenges:~
