My son is about to become an uncle for the first time and I have made this card for his inlaws, Barry and Marion, who are about to become grandparents for the first time too! Their son's wife is due on 21st so they are all waiting in anticipation of the big event!
Using the ever so cute Pringle from Home Grown range st Sugar Nellie, I left him quite plain stamped onto cream card as we don't know what sex baby is yet but I lightly coloured him with PMs. Behind him I put a gorgeous doily I got from my friend Mandy, inked the edges of cream card and mounted this all onto a paper from My Craft Studio.
I am entering this into the following challenges:~
The Sugar Bowl;
Sarah Hurley New Beginnings and
Passion for Promarkers Baby Cards.
The sentiment is CG in Jenkins font.
Ingredients:~
Pringle image from Sugar Nellie coloured with Promarkers in Cool Grey 1, 2 ,3 & 4 and outlined in Ivory. I left the ribbon plain as I want to colour it in either blue or pink once he/she pops into the world;
Ribbon from my stash;
Paper from My Craft Studio Professional.
just utterly adorable! I love it!! Hugs Juls

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous creation. I love just that touch of colour provided by the gorgeous shimmery ribbon. The sort of card you could make in advance, not knowing the sex, and it would suit either a boy or girl.
