Fairymoon Crafts DT card

Over at Fairymoon Crafts just now our challenge (which is running for 2 weeks this time) is to follow the sketch provided and the winner with receive 2 fabulous digis from Crafty Sentiments. So in between wrapping presents and preparing for Christmas dinner, do come and play along. I used a fab paper from Crafty Sentiments and created this very simple card forgetting I was supposed to put an image on (Oops sorry Bev and the girls)!  I simply matted and layered the pretty tartan-style paper onto some white and dark brown pearlised card.  For the smaller squares I very easily resized the paper in Word to create the same tartan but with a very much smaller pattern which I think is very effective.  I added dotty ribbons and fabulous buttons that I got in a wee shop while I was up in Scotland seeing my Mam - lots more to come as the shop had a sensational selection of wooden buttons!
