Clean and Simple Flower

Using Jenni's Stylised Flower 2, I come up with this fabulous card last night.  I coloured the digi image with my Promarkers and used archival ink on the edges, matted and layered onto card from The Papermill Shop and added a dotty ribbon. I added a doily that I had inked the edges of too - first time I have used a doily and I have to say I am rather impressed with the result!

I just LOVE how the colours of the PMs make the flower look 3D and am sure you will be seeing lots more of these on my blog as they are such a versatile digi image.

Ingredients:~
Stylised Flower 2 from Cardmadfairy Creations;
Promarkers:~  Sandstone, Apple, Meadow Green, Forest Green & Marsh Green; outlined in Ivory;
Whispers Archival Ink in Pine Green;
Card from The Papermill Shop;
Ribbon from stash;
Fabulous doily was given to me as a gift from a very special friend.

  2. Hi Sheila, How lovely this card is. I think pro-markers are great do you, they add such depth to your work. I saw a demo on tv today where a woman used them on a background and it looked like brayering, great results. Debbiexx
