Ovarian Cancer

Over at Bugaboo at the moment they are running a Challenge for us to make a card for a cause - I decided to choose (surprise surprise) Ovarian Cancer research.  Using Sketch Saturdays sketch for this week's challenge I created a small wall plaque whcih is going on my fridge door and anyone who comes in and helps themselves to milk for their cuppa can see it and perhaps become more aware of the statistics etc of this horrid disease.  I coloured the fabulous freebie from Bugaboo with my PMs and layered it onto My Minds' Eye BP, added a white ribbon (coloured teal with PMs) and some beautiful flowers I won  recently, then added computer generated sentiments tho they cannot really be called sentiments - I would prefer to say they are a statement.
All participants are free to use whatever colour ribbon they support and their is a fab link on Bugaboo's blog that relates what all the different coloured ribbons support - too many or me to list here so do pop along and see for yourself.

  6. That is a great card. The image is just perfectly utilised. I'm thinking this is going to be an emotional challenge when us DT go around reading the stories behind the projects. Thanks for joining us at Catch The Bug and hope to see you again soon.
