Earth Fairy using Nellie Snellen Die



Well it is a very wet day here in N London so I have been able to get this card made in the daytime as it is too damp and cold to go out.

I used my Nellie Snellen Oval Die for the first time and am pleased as Punch with the result! I coloured 'Earth Fairy', a recent Friday Freebie from Pollycraft, with my faithful PMs to match the fabulous Kate Knight paper (which incidentally was also a recent Freebie in a cardmaking magazine).


The sentiment I found on a fab site on the Net - I added to the inside 'and she is here to wish you a very Happy Birthday', and I layered it on lilac glitter card.






I used matt silver and lilac glitter card to which I added lilac ribbon and blue and lilac bows from stash.



This close up shows the lovely blue and lilac colours I used. I think I am getting better at my shading now that I have been getting lots of practice - lots and lots!




I am entering this one into Mamidoodles 'Up In The Air' Challenge No 4.

    Hi Sheila,
    I lov ethis image, did you say she was free with a magazine, how fab.
    Love your colours and your colouring and shading is brilliant. It was awful here too, but unfortunatly I have been ironing!!
    Do you know you could enter your card in the flutterby Wednesday challenge? It asks for cards with a winged thing on...this would fit the bill. Debbiexx
