Fairymoon Craft DT card

Over at Fairymoon this week, we have been asked to follow a simple sketch to be in with a chance to win this fabulous prize from Fairymoon Crafts~

so here is what I came up with.  Using the fab digi 'Shop Til You Drop' from Digistamp Boutique, papers that were freebies and ribbons from my stash, I added a fab handbag charm to finish it off.  As well as it being a DT card, I am entering it into Digistamp Boutique's January Competition to see if I have any luck winning more of their fabulous digi images.

Ain't she a cutie - I just adore her lips!  Wonder is she has been shopping in her local craft shop? If she is anything like me her goodies would never fit into a bag that size he he!

Fairymoon Crafts DT card

Over at Fairymoon Crafts just now our challenge (which is running for 2 weeks this time) is to follow the sketch provided and the winner with receive 2 fabulous digis from Crafty Sentiments. So in between wrapping presents and preparing for Christmas dinner, do come and play along. Simply follow this sketch and hey presto you could win.........

                                               

I used a fab paper from Crafty Sentiments and created this very simple card forgetting I was supposed to put an image on (Oops sorry Bev and the girls)!  I simply matted and layered the pretty tartan-style paper onto some white and dark brown pearlised card.  For the smaller squares I very easily resized the paper in Word to create the same tartan but with a very much smaller pattern which I think is very effective.  I added dotty ribbons and fabulous buttons that I got in a wee shop while I was up in Scotland seeing my Mam - lots more to come as the shop had a sensational selection of wooden buttons!
