Bonnie Bookworm

As lots of you know I am a bookworm but have recently taken to my Kindle (surprise surprise) and I have alas seen seeing various crafting friends make those stunning art books (paper folding them) and I think Grrrrr don't do that to the books love!!  But I think my real love will always be touchy feely real paper books.  What is your favourite reading device?

I recent became a great fan of Oddball images  thanks to my crafting buddy Bettina and I just had to make this beauty up into a card.  She is called Bonnie Bookworm and this is how I read too......

I have gone back to using the smooth side of my Rymans card to print my images after buying a good quality one that I just can't get on with for some reason - perhaps I need to persevere he he.  My papers are from Pink Petticoat and I added some Scrim behind her fro some texture.  This is a bit different from my usual style but I felt it was time to broaden my horizons by trying something unusual for me.

Ingredients:~ Bonnie Bookworm from Oddball Art ;
Prisma Pencils;
Papers from Pink Petticoat and
Gems & Scrim from my stash.

Challenges:~
Dream Valley No 107 Anything Goes;
Craft Your Passion No 263 Anything Goes and
Crafting from the Heart No 61 Anything Goes.

Thanks for dropping by!!

  1. It's a really great card, Sheila! What a great image that is! There is nothing like holding a real book and turning those pages, but I do like my Kobo too! :o)

  7. What a great image, Sheila, and fabulous colouring! I agree with you about books - a 'real' book never runs out of battery just before the denouement!!
