First of my Christmas Cards finally....

Well some of you know that Christmas is not the best time of year for me - I fled a violent marriage that always resulted in a drunken husband for 2 weeks over the Festive Season - so this time of the year brings back lots of ghosts despite it being 15 years ago.  Some of you may relate to this and some may say get on with it love - I do get on with it but it is always at the back of my head how happy my Christmases are now compared to then and I get overwhelmed!

Finally I got some cards made (more later) and ...wait for it...some shopping too!!

This first card is for a very special lady in my life....my Mam!!

A close up of the gorgeous digi from Teddy Bo ~

  2. Oh Sheila I am so glad that Christmas is much more of a happier time for you, memories of the past are always lurking somewhere in the back of our minds but it is lovely to know that that is where they are and are no longer affecting the festive season. As for your card it is stunning I absolutely love the image and how you have coloured it, the actual card design is excellent full of so much wonder, special card for a special lady.
