Finally.......

Well I have been AWOL for such a long time - I have been popping on and viewing other blogs every couple of days but there has been so much going on at home that I simply haven't had time to blog.  I have been making the odd card for orders and selling in my local hairdresser's but nothing too exciting.

We are currently awaiting the imminent birth of our second grandchild - can't wait for him/her to arrive.  Kai is now 10 months old and a holy terror in a lovely way!!  Cruising the furniture; opening cupboards; crawling after the poor cats; eating everything in sight; flirting with everyone and boy he is great fun!! I have him 2 days per week as Lynne is back doing her Nursing Degree and he is such a joy to have.  We go to Jo Jingles and Tatty Bumpkin classes and I can't remember having this much fun with mine when they were this young - guess I was too blooming knackered!!

Here he is enjoying his lunch at Granny's house ~
Isn't he just adorable?

Anyways I have finally found time to make a card, take a pic of it and post it on here...that's inbetween making nursery curtains, knitting blankets and cardis and all the usual monotonous things that fill my day and Graham being very poorly since Xmas - he had fever, shivers, headaches and many sleepless nights until he was finally referred to a Haematologist who has found 'something' in his blood (or I should say that some reading is very high).  Hopefully it is nothing too sinister - she has taken more detailed blood samples for analysis and we go back to see her tomorrow for results so everything is crossed!

Not a great pic as very dull here today but this is made using a gorgeous Marion Emberson stamp - hard to see but I embossed it and added pearls (after I broke my fabulous XCut border punch!).

Well folks, thanks for coming back to visit my boring old blog - hopefully I can get cards made more regularly and keep up to date with you all on a daily basis.

  4. Hi Sheila

So sorry to hear of all your troubles in recent months, and hoping that the hospital are able to tell you and Graham more tomorrow and you can start sorting it all out!

Your grandson is gorgeous, wishing you all the very best for your new arrival too

Fabulous card, great image and all your details are perfect - so annoying about your punch though - hate it when that happens! Still your card is really elegant and classy!
