Been a busy bee......

Thanks for your kind comments on my last post...it's so nice to be back crafting albeit it not as often as I would like.

Well we had good and bad news about Graham ....the low lymphocyte blood results show he has had a long term unknown virus BUT the test also revealed his blood contains a paraprotien that can lead to bone marrow cancer.  The reading is extremely low so the consultant is very positive that with monitoring over the next 20 years or so the Myeloma may never rear its ugly head.  He therefore has to have a full body myeloma xray on Tuesday and had further blood tests which are going to a top London hospital for testing.  It was actually a fluke that it was found as she says there are thousands of people who have this paraprotien but never know - sometimes until it is far too late so we are keeping positive.  Been there got the tshirt etc when I had Ovarian Cancer in 2009 and it was only found by fluke as well so confident things will go good for Graham too - to cap it all he has just started a new job but his boss is being very good about time off for appts etc.

Here are two cards I have made over the last couple of days.  Not entering them into any challenges as I am off out very shortly.  Tell me what you think.....

This is a Wellington stamp I got free with a mag and various papers etc.  It is winging its way to Scotland to Great Granny from Kai - she can't wait to come down to see him again as she not seen him since Dec and he has changed so much - also dying to see new baby when he decides to make his appearance but as usual she takes the train down (12hrs trip)!!  YUK!!
This one is using a fabulous new paper range from Pink Petticoat - imported it into Serif and added a faux stitch border and text.  Liz has some fab new modern paper ranges to pop along and have a browse at her site if you get a chance.
Have a great weekend all of you and I will be back soon - if no new baby over the weekend may get some crafting done even.....
