Experiment with Prisma Pencils

This is my second post for today so pls scroll down to see another card...

Many of you will be aware that I got the full set of Prisma Pencils for my Birthday last year and so far I have struggled to be 100% happy with the outcome of my colouring so...I emailed the fabulously uber-talented Kerry and, with some great advice from her, have switched to using the backside of Papermill Shop White Linen to colour onto instead of my usual Rymans Smooth and I have to say WHAT A BLOOMING DIFFERENCE!!  So to all you Prisma users out there I have to say do try this.....and to Kerry a massive thanks for all your help.  I would be very grateful for your honest opinions on my colouring please crafters....
 I used one of my new images from Teddy Bo - ain't this cat just so purrfect?
Ingredients:~
Digi image from Teddy Bo coloured with Prisma Pencils;
DPs are from Grace Taylor Blossom 12x12 pack;
Pearls and ribbon from stash and
Sentiment CG'd.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:~

Many thanks in advance for your comments on my colouring please.

  1. This is lovely Sheila. I have Prisma pencils too and have not used them. Bought the stumps and the laquer too, but one day will have a go and hopefully will end up with something as nice as yours. Debbiexx

  6. Oh Sheila, what a fantastic card & what great colouring. Thought it was a dog not a cat though, but he's super cute what ever he is - so cute in fact I'm heading over to Teddy Bo to find him! Jx

  7. Well you were right - silly me for doubting, defo a cat. Got him all the way to the checkout then the computer hung. Was it trying to tell me something? Colin says he got on fine today, & he knows I put stuff on my blog - different story if it went on Facebook, his friends might see it there, but my blog is allowed!

  8. Your colourings great Sheila - love the cute cat - I have to agree he does look a bit like a dog - reminds me of scooby doo!! I think the secret with any colouring - whatever you use - is find the card that suits you then the more you do it the better you get! hugs Judith x
