My news and my daughter's news too!

Good morning happy crafters - I suppose you have come back to read my exciting news........well...........shall I tell you or not?..........................I HAVE to tell you as I am nearly wetting myself with excitement at being selected for the fab and funky Fab'n'Funky Design Team!!  Can you hear me shouting from my rooftop? So now I can very proudly display this.....

...............on my wee blog. Can I just say also good luck to Judith and Judit, the other newbies on the team - we will be each other's crutches over the coming months I am sure!!

For my first DT card for Fab'n'Funky, we are  sponsored by the fabulous Joanna Sheen who is very kindly giving the winner a £10 voucher to be spent instore - how fab is that when you see her huge range of crafting goodies?  and because today is a special day (in case you hadn't noticed it's Feb 29th today) we have been set the challenge....

My card was made for Lynne, my pregnant daughter, who passed her 1st year Nursing Exams with flying colours despite having the most horrific time with morning sickness, headaches and generally feeling cr##.  Thankfully she is now feeling much better and eagerly awaiting the birth as is Granny-in-waiting here!!  Baby will mean taking a year out but it will be worth it to enjoy the baby while it is small as that smallness is so short.

I have used Mo Manning's A Big Whoop and coloured her with Promarkers and my fine nibs (what did we do before they were invented?)....

So I want to thank the Fab'n'Funky team for having me and am hoping I have a fun time with them.  DO come along and join in this week.
