Carnival Balloon from Simply Sassy

I have been a bad blogger the last few days - seem to have lost the will to craft or do anything really - the house is a tip and the wasing and ironiong are piling up. Think I just not got rid of that bug I have had and Graham is off work today with the same symptoms so know now it was a virus I had.  Feel wabbit (some of you may know the translation but if not it means knackered, tired, exhausted, etc).

Today's card is for the following challenges ~ Sentimental Sundaes 'Inspired by A Song'~ The Carnival Is Over (by The Seekers); Sketch Saturday's current sketch (beautiful sketch girls!) and Wee Memories Anything Goes.

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend - but where has the sun gone today? If you have it, can you pls send it back to me in Enfield pls as I do not like the rain - tho my plants love it.

Vintage Boutique

I just adore this stamp from the Simply Sassy range at Funky Kits - hope you like her as much as I do.

I coloured her with my PMs and cut out two scalloped circles with my nesties; using the same colours I coloured the image with I inked the edges of the larger shape and distressed the edges with my wee scissors.  The sketch is from The Sugar Bowl current challenge and the DPs are from The Papercraft Factory from Funkyhand 'Pleased to see Ya' range.  My flowers I made using cheap white flowers I bought from a local shop, coloured with PMs to match image, joned two together and stuck down onto card.  Quite pleased with results as they were only 20p - basic white flowers that I took apart as they were ugly and I got loads out of the 20p.

I also discovered in Photoshop how to lighten pictures - sometimes depending on the light outside I feel my pics are too dark and been struggling to find out how to lighten them but hey presto found the button today and they are much lighter now thankfully.

I am entering this into the following challenges;~

Cute Card Thursday (Nic is GDT this month - congrat to you Nic) Embellish It;
The Sugar Bowl challenge 61;
The Play Date Cafe Pink, Green & Purple;
Paper Sundaes Vintage/Shabby Chic;
Simon Says Stamp & Show Your Fav Stamp;
A Spoonful of Sugar Flower Power;
Divas by Design Florals and
Papercrafting Journey Anything Goes/Your Favourite.
