First use of Prismas ....and.......

I LOVE 'EM!!
Gotta get some more now - I 'think' I have used them properly after having watched hours on You Tube - just have one wee question tho for anyone who uses them on Rymans card - does the oil always show thru the back or am I using too much?

I would appreciate any comments, hints, tips please.....I kept the colouring simple seeing as it is my first attempt!

I am entering this into the following challenges:~
Totally Papercrafts Holidays;
CES Water It;
Divas By Design Summer and
Pink Ink Sketch.

Ingredients:~
Image I was given by a friend;
Prisma Pencils ~ 929, 946, 1034 and  904;
DP, ribbon, brads, flowers and lace paper from stash;
Sentiment made using alphabet stamps from The Range (99p).

Like I said earlier, I would appreciate any comments, good or bad, about my colouring with these pencils. Many thanks in advance :)X

  3. Looks fab to me. I've had another play with my Prisma this morning and binned the result. I think I'm being a bit too heavy handed with them. I'll try to lay less pencil down next time. I am using Rymans with blending spirit and nothing shows through the back. Debs xx

  5. Hi Shelia - your colouring is fab - I can only recommend trying to dab some oil off first and see if that helps - but don't worry girl after all no-one is going to see the back and your card is fab. I look forward to seeing your next creation. Hazel x

  12. Hi Shelia, such a pretty card and the image is really cute! Your colouring is fine, don't think anyone would guess it's an now obsession! Personally I use Sansdor and paper stumps on Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock and get no bleed through. I've found that colouring lightly then blending and repeating until I finally colour quite strongly for definition works for me. A lovely blog to follow is 'a load of old pickle' Kerrys' colouring is just superb! Thanks for joining in with us this time at Divas by Design. Sarah
