Wedding Challenge at Cardmadfairy's Digi Days!!

Update:~
For some reason this post did not post as scheduled on Friday so here it is now bloggers!

Well it is a very special day for a very special Royal couple today and over at Cardmadfairy's Digi Days we are having a Wedding theme in our challenge this time......and we are sponsored this time by Whoopsi Daisy.

It is also a special day for me as Graham and I are off to Norfolk (after the wedding of course!!) til Monday.  It is the first break where I will be able to walk in comfort and do the things I want to do without being in pain.  For those of you who are interested I am now on NO painkillers at all - not even Paracetamols - tho I have them on me wherever we go.

Using Jenni's fabulous Button Heart Digi image, I created a background paper which I coloured parts of with Promarkers; this was mounted onto a very textured ruffly red paper.  The digi image I used is from Pink Petticoat and is a Lola Rose one; this too was coloured in parts with PMs then mounted onto the same red paper.  The silver ribbon was also mounted onto the red paper (difficult to see in the pic but it is so textured and I could stroke it all day and night!).  The sentiment was made in Word using an Autoshape in which I put text that I then cut around and once again put onto the red paper.

I glammed the whole thing up a wee bit by adding lovely pearl shapes. God knows how I managed to get them in the heart shape but I am rather impressed with my skill there, he he.

I love the Lola Rose images but they seem to have disappeared from the cardmaking scene but I wanted to let you crafters see how versatile Jenni's digi images are - you can see here how I used the Button Heart to creat my own paper; I could also have coloured it in Paint; resized, flipped, etc in various other software programs.  Hard to see but I actually fadded the edges of the paper square.

I am entering this one into the following challenges:~
Incy Wincy Designs Buttons and Bows.(too late for this one)
