You can win this candy......

...........and help research into Ovarian Cancer by visiting Sue's blog here. It is a rather cheeky plea but in aid of a very worthwhile cause and let's get things straight here - it is a fab blog candy!!
Being the victim of Ovarian Cancer myself very recently, I hope you will join me in helping Sue to raise lots of money so that in the future women have a higher rate of surviving this awful disease.
I will post my cards on here once I have made them in the next couple of days so keep watching this space....

Raindrops keep falling on my head!

Wow is this our Indian Summer coming - its a glorious day again here in N London and I have to post this card about rain - never mind she is happy despite the rain on her head! I handstitched all around the image - really must get my machine out but it is SO heavy to lift onto the table - but when I get into the front room (which is soon to be my craft room) I can get it permanently out ready for use.
This one is going to 2 Challenges :~ Charisma Cardz 'Inspired by a Song' Challenge (can you guess the title?) and Moving Along With The Times 'Stitching' Challenge.

Hoping you all have a fabulous day wherever you are!

Myth & Magic

This is my second card for tonight - a totally new style for me - Myth & Magic - for I Love Promarkers current Challenge. I stamped swirls onto pink & green papers that I got free with some mag months ago then inked the edges with Whispers inks. I did the same with the image which is from My Craft Studio - didn't realise there was so many images on the CD I recently bought so must find the time to browse for more. Ingredients:~

Fabulous Funky Floral Fantasy!

I have two cards to share with you guys tonight - this first one is for Anice at Get Funky's Fabulous Funky Floral Fantasy 3D flowers Challenge! Phew got that out eventually! I had fun doing this with NO image or Promarkers!

I would like to thank Anice for picking me as a Birthday Winner on the last Challenge over there at Get Funky! Using the fabulous papers from Funky Hand's Colour Me Happy CD I tore the paper into 3 strips using my fancy ruler (don't know the technical name for it but you guys will - ruler with no straight edges!! he he), stuck them onto pink backing paper and added 3 handmade flowers - again using their papers - details below.

Ingredients:~
Papers from Funky Hand's Colour Me Happy CD - Contented Coffee & Merry Berry ranges;
Ribbons from stash;
sentiment made on PC.

Teddy Bears' Picnic

It may be 1st September but we are having a glorious day here in London - its 22 degrees in my back garden. Not much happening in my day to day life right now - just awaiting my second injection for my neck which is due on 12th October then I have the big decision to make - do I opt for the major op or do I suffer this chronic debilitating pain for the rest of my life? Still undecided but veering toward having it at the moment! The pain is preventing me from doing any kind of work and has stopped Graham and I having our long treks in the countryside and on the hills; it stops me making as many cards as the tip of 2 of my fingers on my right hand are numb and tend to do what THEY want to do!; and the pain is of course getting me down emotionally. But since doing the online Course thru Macmillan I have learnt how to manage the pain much better and this has helped enormously.

Onto my card now ~ moan over ~ I have made this onefor 3 challenges - Pollycraft No 59 Add A Little Nature; Passion for Promarkers Teddy Bears' Picnic and Bugaboo's Dog Days of Summer. Ingredients:~
