Spotlight Digital Plus

Over at Crafty Cardmakers this week our Spotlight is Digi Plus ~ do something other than print & colour.  For this I used the stunning 'Watching You' image from StitchyBearStamps which I flipped over horizontally and printed onto firstly white vellum and then a coloured fantasy background from My Craft Studio Collector Edition.  The vellum was then placed over the other image exactly and pearls were added to the wings on both images. The sentiment is computer generated using Scriptina font in size 24.  Organza ribbon was added to the front tho it looks blue in the pic for some reason.

I really wished I could have done more with her but our Photoshop is playing up this week and keeps shutting our PC down ??!!?? So this simple digi plus is all I could come up with girls ~ sorry!  Perhaps I should stick to playing with inks in the future!

  1. I love that image - I bought it a while ago, before I joined Stitchy's DT, and it's just so much fun to use!

Not sure why your computer keeps shutting down - only problem I have is that Photoshop Elements slows my laptop down - mainly a graphics card overload, I suspect.

That's a beautiful card - such a clever idea using the vellum like that - it gives a real 'fairy' feel to it.

  8. Love the colours on the paper and the printing on the vellum layer has worked really well and given it an ethereal quality, just like a fairy should have.

    Well done sweetie xxx
