Mr and Mrs Stein

You will realise that I LOVE Sandra Caldwell's fabulous characters and I just adore them even more now I have my Lyra pencils to colour them.

Just take a look at this fabulous loving couple he he he he!! Mr and Mrs Stein!!  I call them Frank and Betty!!  The papers are from my stash and I added the cobweb corners. The Sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up Good Greetings!  I also added the spider earrings - thought they were appropriate for the upcoming Hated By Me Halloween!!  Long story I am sure I shared here last year!

Lyra Pencils and Ultimate Graphic Card - PERFECT!!

My followers will know that I have eagerly been waiting delivery of the best card for my new Lyra Pencils and it came and I have played and wow am I impressed or what??

These pencils glide over the card and blend perfectly with little or no effort - perfect for my back problems! SO I think I may have died and gone to heaven - if you don't see me or hear from me for a few days you know I will be hiding somewhere colouring away.....  the pink is so that I can join Lucy's pink club with Andrea ha ha girls!!

Ingredients:~

Papers from stash;

Pink card stock is put thru my crimper (hard to see in pic);

Flowers I made with my Stampin Up Flower Shop stamps;

Sentiment is also Stampin Up Good Greetings;

Digi image is Penny from Saturated Canary coloured with Lyra Pencils.

I am not entering any challenges with this one as I am testing out reactions to my use of these fab pencils first!!  Please excuse the crap pic but I need to post this tonight!!

New Blog Challenge at All Dressed Up

Hello my lovely friends.

Well Autumn is her and I have to say it is my favourite season - I love walking on a crisp Autumn morning and I adore the chilly evenings too!

It.s tome for a new Blog Challenge over at All Dressed Up and this time it's Team a turn to showcase Wendy's fabulous images.  BTW come back on 7th of the month as we have some glorious new digis to share with you.....I have to say I think they are the best so far - I had such fun with the image I chose to showcase!!!

Back to the current Blog Challenge and here is my card ~

The image is All Wrapped Up (perfect for this Autumnal days) and I coloured her with my new Lyra pencils - not happy with the result tho - the card isn't right for them as it doesn't let them blend correctly  but I have some on order from Polkadoodles that it meant to be perfect!!

Ingredients:~
All Wrapped Up digi image from All Dressed Up Etsy store;
Lyra pencils ~ Skin 31:32:76; Hair 80:82:83; Dress 72:73:74:92:93: Flowers 92:93.
Papers are from my stash (been having a tidy up and found some I hadn't used in ages;
Ribbon and Stickles added from stash too.

Good morning and what a beautiful day it is here in London!!

I have been playing again with my Lyra pencils but not yet gotten the card I ordered :(

Here is a fun male card - is there such a thing as they are so hard to make for. Is that just because there are so few images available? Good question!

October Facebook Challenge at All Dressed Up

Quick post tonight showcasing my card for the new October 'Autumn Colours' FB Challenge at All Dressed Up.

I used Feed The Birds from the All Dressed Up range at Funky Kits coloured with my Lyra pencils - still not found the perfect card yet buy eagerly awaiting a delivery from Polkadoodles!!  Papers are from my stash and the felt leaves I bought from Lidls the other week along with some other fabulous felt edges!!  The image is not currently in the store but I will speak to Wendy and ask her to put it back in.
