Party Time!!

Well folks that's summer over for another year....sadly.  I do love summer.  I need a holiday but that will need to wait - too many personal things happening at the moment that I can't talk about on here. Nothing sinister - just not yet complete!!

All Dressed Up are up and running again after our Summer Break (pfft what summer??) and it is Team A turn to showcase our cards.  I have chosen to show Party frock - one of my favourite of Wendy's images so far!
I put her off the page for a different effect and think it worked.  The backing paper is plain white card stamped with a teeny leafy stamp I found amongst my stamps!  Been tidying my stash and hopefully will get some unused(by me) stash up for sale very soon. Tastes change don't they?

I hope you like my card and do pop along and join in with the challenge. We currently have a Facebook Challenger running too with a theme!!
Thanks for popping by!!

I love texture

I am on a roll today with this empty house malarky.....just want to share a journal page I made tonight. I have entered it into the Oddballs FB Challenge.

Coloured with Prismas. Added measuring tape ribbon I got from The Works; Cream rikrak tape; Builders Scrim; Button; Paper clip and embossed with woollen type folder. Enough texture do you think?

Hoppy Wishes

I have another post for you to see today - with the house being apart (apart from me of course) I am getting peace to craft.  Of course that's in between doing the normal things like checking emails and FB ha ha!!

I found a new Blog challenge so I thought I would play along and see what kind of response I get.   What do you think of this one...............
I have used Old Maid Bunny from Sandra Caldwell at Sweet Pea Stamps.  Can you tell I love her work?  I followed the sketch no 281 from Sketch Saturday and am also entering this into The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge No 16 Photo Inspiration by using this gorgeous pic.....
I am kinda new to MM so am still learning and stocking up on different mediums.  I used a fabulous hessian back and cut my circles and clouds using dies.
Dunno about you but I like it!!

Challenges~

Thanks for popping in :)

Do you like clowns - if so you are ok!

I am alone at home over the next few days so have had room and time to craft......I do miss not having that with our daughter and her toddler son living her at the moment but family comes first I suppose he he!!

First of all the All Dressed Up FB Challenge is live now so do pop along and play along. Our Blog Challenge finishes tonight with a new one starting tomorrow at 1700hrs so you still have time to enter that.

I have created a journal page using the hilarious Little Old Lady Clown from the Sandra Caldwell range at Sweet Pea Stamps.

The paper is from a very cheap pad I bought at Lidl couple of weeks ago - it has some fabulous funky card and some see thru paper too - not quite tissue but not acetate either. Hard to explain :(  I coloured my image with my Prismas but I have to say I am tempted with this new Lyra pencils that are currently taking the craft world by storm!!  Visit here to find out more.   I have added Stickles to her ruffle. Isn't she just adorable - think I have found my all time favourite artist!!  Sandra's digis have character and I can almost feel them around me - I know I am mad but that's what I feel when I am crafting with them!!

I am entering this into The Pencil Case Challenge No 1 Anything Goes and you don't need to have the new pencils to take part in this..
