Gosh I cannot believe we are at Easter yet again - where does time go these days?  Just back from Sainsbury's and it was heaving - you'd think the shops were going to be shut for days not just on Sunday blooming heck :(

My card for today is for a very special crafting whose birthday is very soon but she shall remain nameless as this card will soon be winging its way to her letterbox.

As you will see I have used another gorgeous image from D'Arcy's Diaries - I have just fallen in love with the simplicity of them.  This wee gem could be happy, sad, thoughtful, asleep, the list is endless.

Ingredients:~
Digi image from D'Arcy's Diaries;
DPs from Grace Taylor Blossom Scrapbook pack;
PMs:~ Caramel, Cinnamon, Shale, Blush, Dusky Pink, Moss, and Pumpkin;
Clouds made using chalk and selfmade template;
Sentiment from Personal Impressions clear stamp set and
Gem from stash.

Fab'n'Funky Embossing DT card

Hello fellow bloggers. Well what on earth has happened to the weather?  It has been reasonably nice here but much colder. My poor Mam woke up to 4in of snow on Tuesday morning!

Embossing

.....so  I did embossing with a fab Pringle type patterned folder that perfectly matches the shutters on my image.  I cannot master 'real' inked embossing so need to perfect that very soon.

I have used a fabulous digi image that I found via the Teddy Bo site - D'Arcies Diaries - oh my they are so fabulous I am sure I will be visiting again very soon to buy some more.

Anyhow, here is my wee card for this Challenge at Fab'n'Funky this week so do come along and join in and have some fun with us.....

Sweet Friend

Hi my friends and welcome to my new followers - hope you get a wee bit of inspiration from time to time.

Today's card was made over the last few days as I have been trying to catch up on my knitting projects at the moment as well as paper crafting.  I will post them once I have sewn all the buttons on - it is all Baby goodies as we are counting the days no - due on 29th but not sure Lynne will last that long. She is now thankfully on Maternity Leave (after her Ward Manager took three months to decide how much Annual Leave she was entitled to  :(   ).

This wee fella reminds me of Wee Willie Winkie and if you tell me you don't know the rhyme I will post it for you....simply ask.....

I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him on Teddy Bo site and I had to have him (he has been posted previously) but I coloured this one with my Prismas and am very pleased with the result.

Teddy Bo image coloured with Prisma Pencils and PMs;
DPs are Bearly Mine and Pink Petticoat;
Sentiment is a rub-on from my stash (I adore it but no label on packaging so unsure where it came from) and
