Something new to me!

This card and bookmark was made with instructions I got from a fellow DoCrafter who had seen Hayley West make one on Creat & Craft.
I used navy linen paper from Papermill Shop for the envelope; floral paper for insert is from Pink Petticoat - ForgetMeKnot in Ocean colour; floral corner stamp is from Papermania; ribbons from stash and I used my Nestabilities to cut shapes for inside and also for top of bookmark - Lge Inverted Scallop Circles.

I am entering this for the following challenges:~
Crafty Cardmakers No 18 - Challenge Yourself.

Dippy Doodles Blog Candy

Dippy Doodles has blog candy up for grabs til 30th April. Do go along and visit as it is lush!
She also has some glorious goodies for sale. Great fro bday pressies etc.

Loretta's Challenge No 91 on DoCrafts

Following Loretta's sketch I used pearlised navy paper and Doodle Dots in Silver from Pink Petticoat; Maggie with Flowers from Sugar Nellie coloured with Promarkers (don't ask what happened to her mouth ~ just think 'kittens'); flower embellishments from Zoe Pearn and ribbons and brads from stash.

I tried to 'distress' the edges of the image, the sentiment and the flowers but not sure if it looks ok or not. Opinions welcome please.
Thanks for looking and leaving comments.

Get Funky Challenge April

I used an 8x8 white cardstock to make this easel card for this Challenge. The Cloud Paper is from Pink Petticoat but the small umbrellas are from Funky Hand's Wordbook CD - Daisy Chain. I used a Gel Pen to draw the brolly handles. Close up shows sentiment.

This close-up shows different papers for brollies.

DigiStamp Boutique Monthly Competition

I used Malcolm Mouse (yes I know he is in pink!) coloured with Promarkers from DigiStamp; papers are from Pink Petticoat Doodle Dots in Silver and Pretty Pink, and pearlised navy blue for matting from Papermill Shop; sentiment in Monotype Corsiva Grey; and flowers and ribbons from stash.
